Cape to Cape Mountain Bike Race for Cystic Fibrosis
The Cape to Cape mountain bike race has been a personal challenge for me for some time. It's an opportunity to cycle some of Margaret River regions great off-road tracks and meet many great people. The race is over 4 days from 21st to 24th October, covering a distance of about 200km across a wide range or terrain.
When I decided to do the race I was a Director on CFWAs Board. Through my time on the board I grew to fully appreciate CFWAs members, the organisation and the dedicated staff and what a great job they were doing for the Western Australian CF community. CFWA's vision is “lives unaffected by CF”, and requires all the support as a NFP from fund raising activities to reach its vision.
Therefore what better way to support CFWA than by raising some money for the organisation and its members while I am personally achieve a personal challenge.
