I'm raising funds for Cystic Fibrosis

In 2022, I started the 65 Random Acts of Kindness fundraiser in hopes to raise money for CFWA while giving back to my community. Last year I raised $1’129, and reached my 65 kindness acts goal in June. 

During the month of May, I’m aiming to do 65 random acts of kindness for Cystic Fibrosis Western Australia’s (CFWA) ‘65 Roses Challenge’. 

The Challenge raises money for CFWA, an organisation providing services for people with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) as well as supporting research for CF. 

My brother, Joel, is 21 years of age and has Cystic Fibrosis, Autism Spectrum Disorder, hypogammaglobulinemia, CF-related arthritis, CF-related diabetes, plus more comorbidities. I grew up being involved in Joel’s care which inspired me to pursue nursing. 

CFWA assisted us with costs associated with hospital admissions, and provided emotional support and things like care packages whenever Joel was hospitalised. 
All donations raised go straight to CFWA, and absolutely every dollar counts.

COVID-19 Positive on the First Day! :(

Monday 1st May
I woke up this morning feeling very off; I thought I’d do a RAT test as I plan to see a lot of people for the fundraiser and… it came back positive! 😕

This won’t stop the fundraiser - “Kindness is doing what you can, where you are, with what you have.” - Raktivist ♥️
