I'm raising funds for Cystic Fibrosis

Throughout the month of May, I’m aiming to do 65 random acts of kindness for Cystic Fibrosis Western Australia’s (CFWA’s) 65 Roses Challenge. I hope to raise awareness for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and funds for CFWA through promoting the notion of paying it forward. 

My brother, Joel, is 24 years of age and has Cystic Fibrosis, Autism Spectrum Disorder, plus many other comorbidities.  
CFWA have accommodated for us by assisting with costs associated with hospital admissions, providing us with emotional support whenever Joel was hospitalised, and in many other ways.

I aim to honour Joel’s fight, and the people battling this disease/silent battles every day, in a way that reminds us just how powerful it is to simply be kind. Every act of kindness brings us closer to a world where compassion outweighs suffering. Let’s continue to be courteous, support one another and always do things from a place of love.

All funds raised go directly to CFWA which assists them in providing services and supporting research to brighten the lives of those affected by CF.

17/65 Random Acts of Kindness

Tuesday 12th May
Another little update! Some more random acts of kindness: helped pay for our pet’s vet bill, cooked my family dinner, took photos for people on my camera, and paid for the next person’s food (video on my FB and Instagram!).

9/65 Random Acts of Kindness

Monday 11th May
These include: shouting drinks for friends, tipping my Ubers extra, and thanking my bus driver!
