Challenge Questions
What is Sweatember?
Sweatember is a new national fundraiser for the Australian Cystic Fibrosis Federation where you commit to moving your body every day in September to support people living with cystic fibrosis. Whether you walk, run, dance, do yoga, or hit the gym – every drop of sweat makes a difference.
Funds raised enable services and support for children, adults and families affected by CF as well as advocacy, research and improved care.
What counts as 'sweat'?
Anything that gets you moving! That includes walking, jogging, swimming, cycling, gym workouts, team sports, yoga – even dancing in your lounge room. The great thing is that you can choose what works for you.
Do I have to exercise every day?
The goal is to move daily throughout September, but how you do that is totally up to you. It could be a 10-minute walk or a full workout – just keep your body moving!
I'm not fit - can I still join?
Definitely. Sweatember is for all fitness levels. You don’t need to be an athlete – just someone willing to give it a go for a great cause.
Where do the funds go?
Funds raised through Sweatember support CFWA, CFQ, CFSA, CFTAS, CFACT and CFA to help provide vital support services, research, advocacy, and clinical improvement.
